Recycle???
Cookie Monster anyone? This little guy caught my eye, so for Christmas I bought this toy for Chaia. As annoying as he may seem he's quite cute and fun to play with. Problem...when cookie monster stops working he requires eight AA batteries. Moral dilemma...for environmental reasons I can't bring myself to keep throwing away batteries or continue consuming more batteries to power him. Does anyone know of a facility that allows you to recycle batteries?

Don't blow out the candles
This Holiday season we honored Chaia's Judaism roots. We lit candles for the Menorah and recited the Hanukkah prayer together. Pleasantly surprised by her intelligence she remembered so many Hebrew words (amazing). After reciting the prayer we lit candles. It took an incredible amount of will power not to blow the candles out, but she did it. This little girls amazes me everyday.
